Welcome to the Department of Computer Engineering of Visakha Institute of Engineering and Technology Polytechnic College is one of the top Computer Engineering Diploma College in Andhra Pradesh, established since 2022. We have strong Diploma program in computer Engineering. It started Diploma in Computer Engineering and Information Technology with an intake of 120 students and currently offers Diploma in Computer Engineering within take off180students.
The department is committed to provide quality technical computer skills in software and hardware relevant to industry. It concentrates on high academic standard backed by updated syllabus and industrial partnership. The primary focus of the curriculum in the department is to impart technical knowledge to students, promote their problem development & solving skills and innovation of new technologies. The course contents of the department are regularly updated keeping in mind new technological developments and industrial requirements. Its enviable placement record reflects the success story of the department.

Advanced Computer Labs - 180 System
1. Programming in C Lab
- Edit, compile and debug execution of C-Programs.
- Learn the syntax of all the statements, keywords, user defied Identifiers and usage of writing statements in C-Program.

- Evaluate all the expressions using different primary types of data, derived data, operators and with their precedence.
- Write C-programs using I/O statements, decision making statements.

- Write C-programs on text files using different file operating modes and file pointers.
- Write C-programs to implement dynamic memory allocation using pointer concepts.
2. Computer Fundamentals Lab

6. Web Technologies Lab
- Understand the principles of creating an effective web page

7. OOP through C++ Lab

8. Computer Hardware & Network Maintenance Lab
- Identify all the components of mother board.
- Modify CMOS settings as required
- Troubleshoot desktop computer
- Troubleshoot individual resources like keyboard, Monitor, Printers
- Install drives, NIC cards, modems(internal, external)
- Install network devices, design and develop network.
- Understand ip address classes and sub netting
- Prepare cross and straight Ethernet cables
- Install and configure proxy server
- Troubleshoot the entire network
9. Java Programming Lab
- Design object oriented programming paradigm
